Up for sale is this rare and antique 19th century blown Nailsea double flask (gemel) bottle. The piece is clear with looped swirls of a purplish maroon color. The flask measures about 9\" long, 3\" wide and 1-1/2\" thick. It has minor surface scratches from display and various air bubbles and impurities which are typical for this type and age of glass. The necks of the double spouts are in \"as made\" condition exhibiting a bit of sharpness where the glass blower joined the wrapped pieces together. The tail has a greenish bulb with a grind mark where the pontil was smoothed over. I am a very careful packer and am offering free fully insured priority shipping on this interesting piece.
