NAO LLADRO \"PUPPY\'S BIRTHDAY\" FIGURINE 1045
Up for sale is a beautiful figurine made by Nao Lladro in Valencia, Spain. It features a young girl holding a cake with an excited puppy at her feet. The title of this piece is called \"Puppy\'s Birthday\" (#1045). It was sculpted by Regino Torrijos and first issued in 1992. It\'s made of fine porcelain and has a glossy finish. It stands about 7 3/8\" tall. The bottom of the figurine is marked with the NAO backstamp used from about 1996 to 2002. It also has the impressed number \"1045\" and several other impressed markings. I purchased this figurine at an estate sale last month. It came from a non-smoking home.
If you\'re confused about the relationship between Nao and Lladro, the company has been around since 1968. The same Lladro brothers that founded the world famous Lladro Porcelain Company own the Nao by Lladro operation. All Nao designs are created in the famous Lladro studios in Valencia, Spain by artisans with the same credentials and talents as those who create Lladro figurines.
Condition of this Nao Lladro figurine is EXCELLENT with no chips, cracks, fleabites, or repairs. It has obviously been well cared for and displays beautifully.
