Here is a huge Naomi Lady Cat Doll!She is dressed to the nines with herpeacock feather train, sequins, beds,etc.. Please see photos - she is muchmore gorgeous in person!She was designed in 2001 for their 2002 collection “Charmeuse” (charming). She is about 26\" tall. Shewas the first doll that was styled with the base - baseis about 11\" long, about 6-7\" wide.They only used the base style a few other times since then. She is veryunique and beautiful representation of Katherine’s Collection. The Charmeuse collection was retired after the 2002 season.She is no longer available, and is truly now a very rare find.Some background:Many of their products are designed in our Ohio (USA) design studio, and hand crafted in various locations throughout Asia and India, including their own location in The Philippines. At the time Naomi was in their collection, a Wayne Kleski tag was sewn into the back of the costume on each of
our dolls, because he was co-owner and head of the design team until 2011. Today they insert a Katherine\'s Collection design team signature tag in each doll box. They design several new pieces each season, Including dolls, tabletop, textiles and ornaments. The design and intricacy of our statement pieces is what makes our difference. Each of the dolls typically takes an average of 1 week to create from beginning to final doll. The design of each doll takes approximately 100 hours with an amazingly talented team of designers, artists, pattern makers and sculptors adding their talents and input to create the “prototype” doll to be reverse engineered and then created exactly as the original using preselected fabrics, etc. The fabrics are carefully selected to complement the given collection’s overall theme.Their pattern makers use various techniques to create dramatic effects on many of the costumes they design.
