This handsome simple necklace is from one of our favorite trading posts near the Navajo reservation
here in northern Arizona. The 6mm. turquoise heishi are a nice medium blue-green shade -- they are a little deeper in color
than they appear in the photos. These are real turquoise -- not block,not howlite, not magnesite, not reconstituted
and not any kind of fake. I would call them medium in color.
These turquoise heishi are accented with Lapis Lazuli and brown/white shell heishi. The necklace is about 20 inches long.
It looks great by itself, with lots of character, or you can wear it with your favorite Native American pendants.
It would look wonderful with Native American jewelry that has turquoise and lapis.
