Here is avery nicepair of Vintage Navajo Sterling SilverOverlay Earrings by Navajo artist Sadie Sam. Sadie has been making jewelry since the 1970\'s, independently and also for Atkinson Trading Co. They are solid sterling silver and have a strong Hopi influence. They measure 3/4\" in diameter and are 1/2\" wide, taperingto 3/16\"wide.Post style, weighing 5.4 grams. They aresigned Sadie Sam andtest as sterling.They are in excellent condition and were probably made circa 1980.
