Vintage Navajo Silver and Turquoise Concho Belt

This belt comes from the estate of my employee\'s mother-in-law. She has a house full of Navajo, Zuni and Hopi pottery, baskets, art and jewelry. She grew up in the southwest and had many Native American family friends. Please check my other items as I will be slowing listing many of her things.

The belt is very old, it has a dark patina. She bought it in 1972 for $500, see pic of her notes. The main tooled leather piece is in good condition but the skinny strip that holds the concho\'s has torn. There are 7 concho\'s, 5 butterflies and a belt buckle. The turquoise runs from a medium blue to a deep green. I don\'t see any signatures. Concho\'s measure 2.75\"x2.5\", butterflies 2\"X1 1/8\". The wide tooled leather is 32 1/2\" long. If the skinny leather that holds the conches in place was replaced it would probably fit a 34 or so. Beautiful belt!
