Up for offers is an authentic New Haven RR \"Beantown\" pattern bean pot. These little 3\" tall pots were a classic standard in New Haven dining cars through the 1940\'s on into the \'60\'s. The seemingly crude rubber stamp logo was how they were made and part of their charm (the crisply lettered ones are poorly made reproductions - to be avoided) - in this way, each was a little different. Once relatively easy to find, these bean pots have gotten to be pretty scarce in recent years. This one is in near perfect condition, with no sign of use.
