This movement waspurchased for resale and found to only need cleaning and, oiling. Thismovement is N.O.S.and is about a third the cost of a new movement.It has been testrunning for many hours flawlessly.
This movement was either misgeared or regeared to be a 85cm pendulum length the 38cm factorymarkingis scratched thru andreplaced
with 85 cm

My statement about laquer; Most clock movements,when Ultrasonic cleaned will lose some laquer during the cleaning process. I was reading some blogs by clock people and a conversation with a Clockmaker of forty years say that relaquering clocks will shorten the life of a movement considerably. The laquer gets in the pivots and starts wearing the movement from the get go. So I refrain from relaquering mostly.
