Hi all,
I\'m looking to sell this nice pair of Horned Back Alligator boots for an old friend of the family. These boots are new and were expensive (1500.00 + Tax according to the original receipt- which will be included) but were never worn due to her husband passing. She\'s held on to them for some time before asking if I would help her sell which I am happy to. About the boots, looking at the receipt it looks like they were a custom order which allowed him to choose the color, stitching etc. They are a size 12E and made by a company called Mercedes Boot Co. in Texas. I also spoke to the owner of Mercedes Boot Co. to try to get an understanding of the value and history of these boots and this was her response

He also had wear caps added to the boots after he purchased them from Debby and she suggested I remove them so I did after taking them to a cobbler which said they\'re normal but most buyers prefer not to have them.
