Here is another item that I found in my “project” closet. It is time for it to go to a new home!

This is a very nicely made composition body that is jointed at the shoulder, elbows, hips and knees. It measures approximately 12 inches in height. The neck socket measures approximately 1 1/4 inch in diameter and is about 1/2 inch deep. The body is painted in a flesh tone with what appears to be a finish coat of shellac. The torso is nicely formed, with some anatomical definition including a bit of molding on the front (including a navel) and a nice little bottom. The feet have slight bit of definition indicating toes.

The forearms are made of a nicely finished bisque, and have an integrated ball joint that is strung into the upper arms. They have a nice anatomy to them, with slim wrists and beautifully sculpted fingers. The fingers are not all separate, but the two center fingers on each are molded together. There is a slight definition to the fingernails and they are accented by light red lines. There are dimples above the fingers on the backs of the hands.

There are no identifying marks on this body. It came with a lot of bodies that I assume were Seeley or Byron, but I’m not sure.

There are no odors to this body.
