Nice antique trick / puzzle box dated \"Patent 1909 US Pat Off\" on bottom, most likely an early snuff box, unusual opening with soft green lined interior. NOTE: Chunk missing from rear side, also missing a portion of the top center flower which also contained a pin that went through the whole box, one puzzle portions slides somewhat loosely because of missing pin, box still locks and has to be opened a certain puzzled way to get inside, great piece of history here, amazing piece for collections, nice intricate handmade design and color.
