Nice Antique vtg Ca 1880s Folk Art Windmill Whirligig W/ Great Paint and Surface:

This offering is for an antique folk art whirligig in the form of a windmill with a vaned tail. The whirligig is made of pine and dates from about 1880 to 1900. The gig features a wonderful early red and white paint and the paint history shows it is over even earlier blue. The surface is excellent, heavily crazed and with a perfect patina. There is wear and loss to the paint on the blades but minimal loss to the body. There are no cracks, breaks or repairs. Included with the gig is a very nice contemporary pyramid stand designed to compliment it\'s display. The gig measures app. 12\" long, the blades are 9 1/2\" across and it\'s right at Height 9 1/2\" tall not including the display stand. The buyer will pay a fixed amount of $ 25.00 for Standard Mail and we will include delivery confirmation, tracking, at no additional cost.
