Historic Documents

Nice group of four (4) 1836 Maritime (ship) documents (cargo manifests) - all involving trade with Moses Taylor, the prominent merchant based in New York.

Two are from Cuba, one from Lavacay, Austria (scarce!) and the fourth from Rotterdam in the Netherlands. Each has a nice illustration of a ship.

The documents involving shipping sugar, pipes, and the Austrian is quite detailed, but written in Spanish, so not sure of the ship cargo.

Also - I just noticed the Lavacay, Austria scan makes the document look like the illustration is half gone. This is NOT the case, the was just folded back during the scan.
