This silver platter looks to have been used to serve meat, so there are a few minor scratches on inside the \"bowl\" of the tray. However, they do not distract from the complete appearance of the platter. Overall, the platter is in relatively good condition. On the underside there is some minor tarnishing. This can be easily cleaned up by using a silver tarnish remover. The design around the edges are fairly intricate. As much as we tried we were unable to retrieve the maker of this piece.
