This is a great item, for anyone wanting to compliment their valued WWI Springfield M1903 rifle.

Up for sale is a Type 1 oiler in good condition, with an unissued brass cleaning thong, bore brush and patches. This oiler would be the correct type for a world war ISpringfield 1903 rifle, but can also be used with all other Springfield 1903s, 1917s, and M1 Garands.

The oiler has a couple of dings (see pictures), and the nickel finish is about 95% intact. The oiler has the squared shoulder of a type 1 on the oil reservoir end, not the rounded shoulder seen on all later, type 2 oilers.

This will make an excellent addition to any 1903, 1917, or M1 Garand
