The dial is convex and protected via a convex glass brass bezel, engraved signature of John Jenkins SwanseaThe single train fusee anchor escapement movement with smooth shouldered back plate. A very good extremely rare English mahogany bracket clock by John Jackson Stafford Between 1840 & 1865 - this should not be missed!


7\" round painted dial with Roman & minute track numerals. The dial is flat and protected via a convex glass brass bezel, engraved signature of John Jenkins Swansea



The single train fusee anchor escapement movement with smooth shouldered back plate. The movement is mounted on a bracket with strap supports lovely quality movement with turned pillars passing strike sale.

John Jackson, Stafford, a 19th century mahogany cased night watchman\'s clock, the oversize single fusee movement with passing strike on the hour on a bell, the white painted dial with Roman numerals, the case with glazed side and door panels and with winding aperture beneath the dial, flush folding brass handle, converted for domestic use - a library clock.

This is a top quality 8 day English single fusee movement, the clock totally original and in UN restored and the movement I have also included the original key and pendulum
