Gendai/Showa Katana By Kanemasa

Here is a nice 25 inch showa katana signed Kanemasa. This sword looks to be very well made, with a great shape. The sword features a nice rolling ko-gunome hamon, fresh polish really shows it off! The hada is a very tight itame almost muji. The sword has no fatal flaws and is razor sharp. There are no stamps of any kind on the nakago. The condition of this blade is very good. Some very fine scratching, not very noticeable though. The habaki is made of copper. The handle is missing. Tsuba is iron with what looks to be gold inlay and the fuchi is copper. The saya is metal, missing parts and is in fair condition (some dings). For someone just collecting or looking for a superb cutting sword, this is one you don\'t want to pass up.
