This antique Noritake Nippon individual or personal teapot is decorated with hand painted flowers with pretty gold moriage accents. Pink, green and red flowers create the border decoration with light green leaves in the background the lower border on the teapot and inner border on the under plate are decorated with a gold geometric design that is accented with raised bead decorations. The set is trimmed in gold.

The teapot and under plate are in excellent condition, free of chips, cracks, repairs and crazing. A portion of the underside of the handle has intentionally been left unpainted.

The pot measures approx. 4 1/4\" including the finial x 5\" from handle to spout and holds 8 ounces. The plate is approx. 5 1/4\". The teapot is marked NORITAKE NIPPON, Hand Painted RC NIPPON. The mark was used in 1911 for items exported to the United States. A great addition to any collection!
