I am moving from North America to the Caribbean Islands and I am unable to take all of my beautiful antiques collections with me and therefore I am saleing this RARE Vintage 1902 Portable Leather Traveling Writing Desk with Inkwell and 1901 Calendar with United States Postal Rate Sheet.
This Vintage 1902 Portable Leather Traveling Writing Desk with Inkwell is in Slightly Distressed and Heavily Used condition showing some wear, scratches, some warpage on the lid and writing pad, edge and crease tears, and the fold over snap flat is very thin and may separate with prolonged handling from age, use and storage. ]
ThisVintage 1902 Portable Leather Traveling Writing Desk with Inkwell has been trade mark stamped on the bottom of the inside leather slots opposite the calendar with a Letter \"R\" inside a Cartouche, that is also printed on the 1902-02 Calendar as provided in the photographs. However, I have been unable to identify the Trade Mark.
The Writing Desk Box is made of cardboard and covered in leather. The Inkwell is mounted to the desk and has a working lid and a 25mm high glass ink bottle with a base diameter of 27mm. Also included is a 1901 - 1902 calendar with United States Postal Rate Sheet printed in the middle. It\'s a neat piece.
This an excellent vintage collector item.
This Vintage 1902 Portable Leather Traveling Writing Desk with Inkwell measure approximately 255mm wide , 155mm deep, 45mm high or thick and weighs 364.0g or 12.839oz. not including any shipping materials.
