Decorative wooden hand carved wing. Circa: 1920\'s
From a collection of French hand carved wooden ‘Casting Mold\'. Originally used for the casting of papier mache or resin based products.Papier mache was placed over the wooden mould and once hardened cut away. Once the two halves have been re-glued together a final brown piece of paper was glued over the top. Once dried the final product was ready for painting or a resin based topping. Finished with a new metal stand.
Dimensions: W:15 x D:9 x H:37cm
Condition: As found, this piece will show signs of being used and age.Measurements: The dimensions will include metal stand.
