See the photos of this Civil War or before box plate that is 100% original in every way. This brass, hollow back, oval plate is about 55 mm across, see photos for condition. It has never been cleaned, repaired, or messed with in any way. Great, mellow patina and I doubt it was ever used. Look how fragile this item is. How many could have survived in this condition? Not sure if \"National Guard\", \"New York\", or \"New Jersey\". Maybe a Bannerman relic? In any event, I will issue an immediate refund if you buy it and don\'t like it.
