North Carolina Jugtown Seagrove Pottery Dish:

This is what I normally call a \"dirt dish\". It is a classic Jugtown style, with a clear quarter size mark on the base. I have done a bit of research and determined that the \"Jugtown Pottery\" mark was only used from 1923 to 1959.

This was the period of time that Ben Owen Sr. was throwing pots at Seagrove, but before he opened his own pottery as \"master potter\".
