Northwest Coast First Nations Carved, Signed Eagle Mask by Ozzie Matilpi:

I am selling this carved Eagle Mask by the artist Ozzie Matilpi. On the back inpencil it is signed along with the word EAGLE and the code C5173 CNDQ. I believe this artist was from the NorthwestCoast of Canada and part of the Kwakiutl people. It appears to be made of redcedar with cedar bark and feather tufts. The mask has a bold design with black,green, red and yellow paint. I have had it on display in my home. The only slight issue is some fine whitemarks on one side which does not take away from the beauty of this mask. Thisis coming from a non-smoking home.
