Offered for your consideration is this beautiful old amethyst vase by Northwood. It has the maker\'s mark on the interior bottom of the vase. The pattern is called Thin Rib and this vase is the \"Standard Size\" with 9 ribs (as opposed to their \"Midsize\" which had 8 ribs). This vase is 1/4\" too tall to qualify as \"squatty\" ~~Measurements are 7-1/4\"T X 3-5/8\" across the base. It is a very nice example of early carnival glass and even comes with at least one large bubble encased in the glass! :-)

This glass was manufactured in the early 1900s, has had previous owners and was likely used. Vintage glass may show characteristics of age including base wear, scratches, rubs, etc. It is also likely to have characteristics inherent to the manufacturing process of glassware back then ~~ such as variations in color and finish, mold marks, straw marks, shear marks, crimp marks, bubbles, inclusions, malformations, heat checks, rough seams, spots of excess glass, just to mention a few.These are not considered to be damage ~~ They are part of the personality of glass of this era and make each piece truly unique.I will note extreme characteristics and/or damage in the sale description.

Repack the item carefully and send it back to me (I recommend using USPS Priority~~it’s easier on glassware and insurance is included for up to $100 value).
