This sale is for a new old stock Tru-stop emergency / parking brake disc. The disc mounted in the driveline behind the Brownie and brake pads were applied to both sides. The Tru-stop brake assembly became obsolete when the more modern spring brake came into use. The Tru- stop brake fit the larger trucks in the 1940s and 1950s. Autocar, Peterbilt, Kenworth, White, Diamond T. , Mack, GMC, and manyMilitary trucks alsohad the Tru-stop parking brake. This wheel or disc is 14\" in diameter, 1 1/8\" wide. It has 8 mounting holes that are 6 1/8\" center to center across. The disc was boltedbetween two driveline flange yokes.
