About the Artist:Sam Thorp
I was classically trained in drawing and anatomy. I attended PA Governor’s School of the Arts. I graduated from Indiana University of PA with a Fine Arts degree and a concentration in Printmaking.
My studio is located in Pittsburgh, where I have had numerous exhibitions, including shows at the Warhol Museum, Carnegie Museum of Art, and Most Wanted Gallery. My art has been shown in New York City , Los Angeles, & Detroit. I’ve shown internationally on the Island of Lesvos, Norway and in Leeds, UK. My artwork has been bought and collected across the United States, UK, France, Australia, and the Netherlands. I’ve been selling paintings and drawings on a consistent basis for a few years.
