Gorgeous Silver plated NY, New York Bach Bb Mercury Cornet, which plays like a trumpet, and many people prefer to a trumpet. This is pre-Mt. Vernon, from the era when Vincent Bach established a reputation as one of the best instrument makers in history. Everything functions well - Valves and slides very smooth and show verylittlewear. No dents. No Dings. No patches. An amazing horn. This horn has been completely gone over - thoroughly cleaned and overhauled with beautiful new silver plating. Bell lettering very nice. Looks virtually new! See photos.
Comes with the original shop card from Vincent Bach when their horns were made in the Bronx. Also comes with a copy of a booklet from 1936 titled \"The Proper Care of a Bach Trumpet and Cornet\". Serial numbers on valves match trumpet. Complete with a case, worn but functional, as well as a finish protection bag. A very good condition NY, New York Vincent Bach 10 1/2C mouthpiece is also included.
