Item Description:

This early Zuni bolo tie has been beautifully crafted. It shows a pueblo bird in mosaic inlay which is surrounded with a border of coral channel inlay. The bolo measures 1 7/8\" across. The handmade silver tips measure 2 5/8\" long. The brown braided leather tie compliments the bolo beautifully. All of the inlay is in excellent condition. There is a break in one of the leather strands at the center of the tie, the other strands at this spot are in good condition. The bolo clasp is marked with the Bennett Pat. Pend C-31 stamp which dates this bolo to sometime between 1957 and 1967 . The workmanship on this piece is exquisite, the design and choice of colors of inlay are very attractive.
