Up for sale is an OLD Original American Merganser Style Wood Duck Decoy: I purchased this from an man in his 80\'s & was told it was given to him from his father. He thought it was from the early 1900\'s, which his father & himself used it for hunting. This OLD Original American Merganser Style Wood Duck Decoy is very unique & rare due to it\'s head Doweled into it\'s body, along with a leaded weight insert on it\'s bottom. Has it\'s Original paint with protective oil applied over to protect the wood from outside weather conditions. Has it\'s original ring with part of it\'s string still attached.
