For your consideration I am listing an old Stanley No. 3 carpenter plane with a Stanley Sweat Heart blade that is 7&3/16\" long. The plane has rosewood tote and front knob and they are very nice with no cracks or chips. The plane has at least 95% of it\'s original japan finish. There are two patent dates behind the frog on the sole. In the front of the sole it says: BAILEY NO. 3. On the lateral adjustment lever it says: STANLEY. There are no cracks or repairs on any of the metal parts. The lever cap is the old style and on it it says: STANLEY. A former owner stamped II on one side of the sole.
