This small military watchwith a manual wind features a white original porcelain enamel dial withone extremely hard to spot surfaces scratch, visible upon close inspection. The original open face features a 60 minutecheckered outer track border with red 13-24 hour numbering, clear black Arabicnumerals, thin hands and a slightly sunken sub-second’s dial. The line of red numbers with a 13-24 hournumbering testifies also about the railway purposefulness of watch use. Theoriginal dial is signed ‘OMEGA’ withtrademark symbol above this.
This astonishing model oftimepiece has a three-piece case. Theinside of back lid has the old trademarkOmega symbol with the inscription ‘OMEGA –SWISS MADE – FABRICATION SUISSE’and case reference number #8.133.113.
Theinscriptions: ‘Swiss made’, ‘Fabrication Suisse’ testify that thiswatch has been assembled on 100% exclusively in Switzerland.
Thewinding crown is in very good shape and operates properly.
This unique watchis mechanical and completely original.To enhance the power coming through thetrain, the center wheel is provided with a jewel. The jewel of the central axis provides more equabletransfer of effort. The mechanism has also aswan neck micrometer for set of the accuracy of the watch. The central jewel, and swan neck micrometerof Glashutte type testify to high level of the mechanism. The high-grade movement is with genuinejewels has serial number #5. 828.003.The serial number shows for a production during the period 1920-1923. In addition to the serial number, there isadditional wording: \"REGINA WATCH Co. SWISS 17 JEWELS ADJUSTED 2POSITIONS\". As known OMEGA bought out REGINAin 1912 and continued to manufacture a watch under the REGINA brand for Canada.The signed numbered original movement was very well saved, consideringage of this watch.

HISTORY: The History of aSuccessful Company Omega was founded by Louis Brandt at La Chaux – de – Fonds, Switzerlandin 1848 as an assembly workshop. In 1879, after his death, his two sons LouisPaul and César started the in-house manufacturing so they started having totalproduction control. One year later, Omega moved into a small factory thatbecame a huge one when 12 months later they bought the entire building. In1903, they both died leaving the company in 24 years old, Paul Emile Brandt’shands. Because of the crisis that the Second World War left, he had to workreally hard in order to face the economic difficulties. He merged Omega withTissot calling the new company SSIH. The SSIH group continued to grow andmultiply under his leadership and, by the seventies, it had become Switzerland’snumber one producer of finished watches and number three in the world.
In1985, the holding company was taken over by a group of private investors underNicolas Hayek leadership. It was immediately renamed SMH (Société suisse deMicroélectronique et d\'Horlogerie). SMH had a rapid growth and success becomingtoday\'s top watch producer in the world. Named Swatch Group in 1998, it nowincludes Blancpain and Breguet.
