This is a one of a kind 20\" tall lady doll sculpted in a polymer clay (Cernit) by artist Melissa Wyatt in the 1990\'s. Melissa is no longer making dolls. Her dolls sold for $1,595.00 at doll shows at that time.
Cernit has a translucent quality that resembles real human complexion. Her mouth is slightly parted and lips very realistic. Her graceful hands are meticulously sculpted. She has legs and shoes that are sculpted and painted. Her blue eyes are glass and are very luminous.
This lady is dressed in Rococo/Baroque style black gown with shimmer accents. She appears to be going to a masquerade ball. Her upswept hair is white mohair.
Her body is stuffed cloth and arms are wired for limited posing.
She looks like she stepped out of an oil painting. Melissa\'s dolls are ethereal and have an innocent quality to them.
The doll is in excellent condition with one repaired finger (2nd finger of left hand) which has been glued and is barely noticeable. Her stand is included.
