I love rabbits, so it was lots of fun for me to design and embroider this one of a kind bunny make-do. My rabbit,made ofmany soft neutral shades, is sitting on a base of green grass.He was punched on weaver's cloth with three strands of DMC and Valdani hand-overdyed floss and mounted on a nicely-worn antique oilcan. The edges of the embroidery were finished off with a generous amount of natural Icelandic wool yarn, held inplace with primitive-style whip stitches. I made a little tag reading "Olde Rabbit" with quality papers and attached it to the base. ( I will send a spare with him). Filling is natural cotton batting and quality fiber fill. I did not use any glue on the inside, so the rabbit can be rotated on the stand into the position you choose.

I decided he needed a tail, so I stitched some loose wool into the trim. He was given a nice antiquing with walnut stain to give an aged appearance. Measures about 9.5 inches tall and 5.5 inches wide total. Please message me through if you have any questions. This will come signed and dated on the base, shipped from my smoke-free home.
