~Over The Rainbow Dollhouse~

This is my handmade, one of a kind Queen Anne style, Marie Antoinette

Woodand Cloth Paper doll.

My doll is styled in a black masquerade outfitwith ared mask, and inspired by the

movie, \"Marie Antoinette\", starring Kirsten Dunst.

The entire outfit is designed and styled by me for this doll.

The doll head, arms and upper body are carved of wood.

This littledoll is a flat face Queen Anne style doll.

Her dress is made of black Moire taffeta.

The back of the dress is embellished with individually handmade and set black taffeta

roses and black tulle bows.

Parts of the dress, mask, and roses are hand sewn and then glued into place.

The front panel isdecorated with individually hand-set, clear faceted gems forming a

Christmas tree.

I used vintage jewelry for her earrings, herbustier and also todecorate herhair coif.

This is a firm standing doll, with the exception of moveable, carved wooden arms

which are attached to the body of the doll with black silk ribbon.

The bottom of her body is made of wood and card stock.

The wood in the middle makes the doll stable and the layered card stock helps

to keep the shape of the dress.

Thewood stand is painted black, and top baseisdecorated to give the look of the Versailles black and white tile.

I have created her high 18th century pompadour coif out of merino, mohair and silk,

and placed a vintage pieceof marquise cut jewelry in her hair.

Height is 10\" tall, 11\" with the base.
