About The Piece

Ocelot (and her tree) has been lovingly sculpted over a wire and foil armature out of FIMO polymer clay. She was then baked for the duration and at the temperature recommended by the clay\'s manufacturer. This means there are no plasticizers in her form, which could make her crumble well before she\'s been passed down to the next generation. As you can see, no details were spared on her, down to the last whisker.

Quality acrylic paints bring her to life. The sculpting was challenging. But the paint job was almost more so. All those spots!

After painting, the ocelot was coupled to her tree with pins and resin, so she is attached to it quite permanently.

Her iridescent dragonfly wings, on the other hand, are detachable for safe shipping, and will come with assembly instructions.

Sculpture is 8\" tall (20.5 centimeters) with wings attached. It\'s small enough to fit in one of those large glass domes you can find at Hobby Lobby. I can tell you one thing. Wherever she will be displayed, people will come in for a closer look. She\'s so vibrant. So unusual. So much detail. Wish she could stay in my home (luckily for you buyers, I have an endless demand for hay on my \'ranchito\', or else I\'d keep her).

Final Details

Sculpture comes from a smoke free home, unless frying my morning eggs counts. Its certificate of authenticity is permanently attached to the bottom of the base.

How To Make This Lovely Creature Yours

Dragonfly ocelots come at a price. Especially ones this prowly. You must place a higher maximum offer than any other buyer yearning for this creature.
Please be prompt in payment of said ocelot. That way, she\'ll arrive to you quickly via a suitable USPS service, and be less likely to scratch you because of any delays.
If you\'re an international buyer, be sure this is legal for your country. Any taxes, fees, damage, or losses your country\'s customs may impose on this are your responsibility. If you\'re from a country known for losing things in customs, or crookedness, keep in mind this may never make it to you, by no fault of mine. Also, I won\'t lie on any customs forms. Sorry!
