Here is a Spectacular Rare Large Quartz Crystal Point from the World Famous McEarl Mine in Blue Springs , Arkansas. The one pocket that this crystal came from contained what is called the World\'s Finest Quartz Crystals. This Point Speaks for itself and looks 100% Better in person. This McEarl is just the way it came out of the pocket.

A quartz mine located 1½ miles West of Blue Springs. Mineralization is quartz veins in Blakeley Sandstone. Started 1940 and closed 1943 and reopened many times since with a 1985 find of spectacular specimens. The Workings featured 2 adits and numerous pits & cuts.
Mine re-opened in the early 1980\'s by Jimmie Coleman for \"rip rap\" construction material. During the blasting of the unassuming \"blue sandstone\" layer an enormous crystal pocket was found around 1982 by Doug Ellison. This pocket contained several tons of crystals some of which were up to 3 feet long and 1 foot thick. They were generally milky but had good luster. Jimmie Coleman then purchased the property from Mini McEarl who had an old family homestead there. Other pockets were hit but in 1987 a major pocket produced what are generally considered the finest quartz crystals ever found. They have this distinction due to their luster , clarity , size and sharpness and attractive striations. This last pocket in 1987 was hit near the property boundary.
The Mine was Re Opened in 2013 by Avant Mining and in late 2014 they Found a Large Crystal Pocket as Good or Better than the Crystal Pocket found in 1987. The Luster and Clarity of the crystals from this Crystal Pocket are Every bit as good or Better than the Pocket found in 1987. This Point is from that Pocket Mined in Later 2014. All the McEarl Crystals I have on were handpicked for the Highest Quality straight from the Source....
Beware of other Sellers on Calling a crystal a McEarl or McEarl Quality. If it is not from the McEarl Mine , then it is not a McEarl. I get my McEarls straight from the Source...
This Spectacular Crystal measures 3 3/4 inches tall and 1 inch wide.
