- This wonderful orange Mid-Century Sascha Brastoff resin figure of a polar bear is about 10” long and quite heavy. These are seldom seen, somewhat unique pieces – scratch signed SASCHA B on the base. Unfortunately, he has a small sliver-chip along one side of his nose – as to appearance and the form projected when viewing the bear, there is no alteration to the profile or shape – the chip is not on the front of his nose but along the side - additionally, I think it could be smoothed out a bit. Elsewhere a flake or two and a few normal scratches but nothing of concern. A very neat Sascha Brastoff modernist item, out of a local estate.
