Up for sale is this antique \"JUNIOR\" Cash Register bank patented and manufactured by the J & E Stevens Co.in the mid to late 1920\'s. The bank measures 4 1/4\" high x 3 1/2\" wide x 3\" deep and is in nice condition for a bank this old. This version of the bank precedes the patent, as noted by the incised \"PAT APLD FOR\" on the bottom. bank retains most of its original nickel finish, which has tarnished over the years and thus developed a warm patina over most of the surface. The locking mechanism works perfectly, though the original key has long since disappeared (I\'m leaving the bank unlocked). Other than a very small hairline on the left side, there is no damage, no repairs, and no replacement parts.
