ORIGINAL CIVIL WAR CAVALRY OFFICERS LEATHER BOOTS IN NICE CONDITIONThese are an original pair of Civil War Cavalry Officers Boots are in nice condition. They are 14” high Boots. The boots are black leather and look to be about a size 8 with typical square toes. Three piece uppers are made with a separate 5”piece of softer brown leather at the front top section. This piece rises slightly in the front to form a rounded crest. These sections are more worn and wrinkled than the rest of the boots. The rest of the leather is strong, just showing honest wear and use. Pieces of fabric pull straps remain stitched inside boot tops. The leather heels are nailed, while the soles are stitched.
