Welcome to my World of enchantment, fantasy, fairies, dragons and all things surreal.

You areviewing one of my Original Encaustic Art Paintings.

Everyone who views one of my paintings will find a different interpretation, totally unique and personal to themselves. Take a few moments to step inside the picture and feel what it means to you - you may be surprised . . .

I have used molten wax and a selection of heated tools to apply it to the painting card.

Once melted, the wax colours are extremely vibrant and vivid with a beautiful sheen. The wax is built up in layers giving a textured look and feel. Weird and wonderful encaustic paintings have a wonderful 3-D quality to them - unfortunately this is somewhat lost when scanning the image. IN FACT, A SCANNED IMAGE CAN NEVER PREPARE YOU FOR THE REAL THING!

Each picture is unique - no two can ever be exactly the same.

The wax I use is colourfast and will not fade over time. I use an acrylic wax sealer to protect the surface of the wax. It will be signed and dated by myself.

This picture is A6 size (measures approx 6 x 4.25 inches or 15 cms x 10.5 cms) and will be supplied unmounted sealed in a clear poly bag.

The picture will be securelypacked in aboard-backed envelope. My postal charges reflect the true cost of postage and packing materials as I am determined that your painting will arrive in pristine condition.
