WELCOME FRIENDS! I am Lizzy Rainey sometimes known as auntlizzy. I would Love to share my art with you!Painting Size and Description: This is an Original Acrylic painting on a Large 20x20x1.5inch gallery wrapped,Artist Quality, stretched canvas. The sides do NOT have staples. The sides are 1.5 inchesthick and are also painted the same tones as the front view with the Landscape Anatomy scene completelywrapping around all the edges so that a frame is not needed for hanging. It is appropriate for a medical facility. This is one of my Medical Art Landscape Anatomy series.... one of the series hangs in the Pentagon. This one is a Radiology Tree. I have painted for doctors, hospitals and clinics nationwide. I am a Radiologic Technologist by trade so I have mixed my love for art and the medical field in this series. I have been published on the cover of the American Society of Radiologic Technologist (the ASRT) where I had painted a similar painting of the brain. I have included a photo image of the magazine cover just for viewing. The magazine is not for sale or part of the sale... This painting is created in essence of a Cardiac angiogram portrayed as an old trunk of a n autumn tree with fallen leaves encompassing it and the roots tangled deep into the foliage. Titled, \"Cardiac Roots\", it is one of my Radiology Tree series. Bursting with color ...Enchanting.Some Texture in the painting. High Quality Acrylic Paints Used. I am the Original artist and have signed my name, Lizzy Rainey 2018, in the lower right section of this painting. The backside of this canvas will also be Titled, signed with my full name, Lizzy Rainey, and dated 2018. This painting will also be sealed with a light clear varnish for protection.

I have used this method of packaging for years with 100% success in the safe shipment of my art, at the same time recycling and keeping shipping costs to a minimum for my buyers. ABOUT THE ARTIST
I\'m Lizzy Rainey, sometimes known as auntlizzy, a self-taught artist located in beautiful Lafayette, Indiana in the Wabash River Valley and awarded as one of the HOOSIER women Artists of 2008, 2015 and also 2016 & 2017.
This year 2018 the Portrait \"Badges of Remembrance. An Indiana Veteran.\" by Lizzy Rainey, is displayed in the Lafayette, Indiana Haan\'s Museum of Indiana Art.
One of my most cherished accomplishments was an online art sale held in October of 2005 to raise funds for my 5 year old nephew\'s heart transplant. He\'s 17 now and will be needing a second heart transplant soon. We had a very successful second art sale for him. Many artists were excited to be involved in the 2005 Art for a Heart sale, even the fabulous Thomas Kinkaid. In 2017 we had Thomas Kinkade\'s brother Pat involved.
This year I am honored to say that the PENTAGON decorated their Radiology department with prints of my work and also now has an original painting of my work hanging in their department. It is a great honor.
My art is currently being published in a new medical Pathology book.
In the years 2008 and 2011, and 2015, 2016, I was honored to be named one of the Lt. Governor\'s Hoosier Women Artists.
The Medical magazine titled \"The American Society of Radiologic Technologists\" Published my work on the cover of their 2008 September/October issue. I have illustrated for this magazine in 2011,2012 and am now illustrating it again in 2014, 2015.
In 2009 I was Honored to be Purdue Universities 2009 Choice Artist for painting their Dog Statue that now resides in their School of Veterinary Medicine\'s Library in honor of the School\'s 50th Anniversary.
Also in, 2009, I created artwork for Lafayette, Indiana\'s new Hospital, St. Elizabeth East. I may be working on more artwork for the new Hospital.
Almost everyday though, you will find me painting the thick trees of the Indiana forests or my memories of trick or treating from the 1965 era, something my customers will not release me from. They are faithful to demonstrate their love for my Halloween Art 12 months of the year.I have moved this love of spooky, old houses to thefascinationof painting the wonderful, old houses of my own Lafayette.
Keeping me focused on realism are the many requests I receive from friends and family members to paint portraits of their children or loved ones, some that have even already gone to Heaven. I am always here and always painting. Painting for me is a distraction from the heartaches of this world yet deepens the colors of every Autumn leaf andintensifysthe light in a loved ones eyes. Paint on canvas makes the shadows of life a thing of beauty. God has given me this gift to heal my heart and I am thankful for it.
