ORIGINAL US ARMY WW2 M1 STEEL POT HELMET WITH ORIGINAL CHINSTRAP AND GROUND TROOP\'S LINER
This is a steel green Army helmet from World War II and came from the family of a soldier that actually wore it. There are scratches and marks that you would expect on a helmet that was used in war. It has a Ground Troop\'s liner that appears to be a reproduction based on the condition of it, however it could be original. I just don\'t know. The inside of the liner reads Liner, Helmet - Ground Troop\'s Type 1 - NSN - 8470-00-935-6843. DLA-100-83-C-4252. The strap attached to the helmet itself has the chinstrap and is original.I don\'t see a size anywhere on this helmet but it measures approximately 11 1/8\" from the back rim to the front rim and 9\" from the right rim to the left rim. The measurements of the removable liner measure approximately 11\" from front to back and 8\" from side to side.
