ORIGINAL VICTORIAN RUBY RIBBED FOUNT FOR AN OIL LAMP:

A very nice RUBY glass oil lamp fount having a screw fit duplex collar with an internal diameter of 1 1/2 inches.

This fount is in excellent condition, we checked internally and there are no tiny hair line cracks beneath the collar. Underneath the fount there are a row of small manufacturers air bubbles, they are shown in our last two images.

Widthisjust under6 1/2inches, height is just over4 1/2 inches. Not fitted with an underfount but has a good strong peg.

Weight is 640 grams.
