THIS WAS THE PRIMARY AIRPLANE USED TO TRAIN ARMY AIR CORPS PILOTS FOR WORLD WAR I
HERE IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO OWN A PIECE OF AVIATION HISTORY.
AGAIN THIS IS AN ORIGINAL, NOT A REPRINT OF THIS BOOK
7 7/8\" X 5 1/4\", 72 Pages in verygood condition. Stitched binding intact, has a some visible splits in the paper at the stitched binding, but all pages are attached. Has an owners name (looks like a rubber stamp) on the inside front flyleaf. Has the original owners name and rank written on the title page. Also has a embossed corporate seal of the LOWELL AIRCRAFT COMPANY, OBERLIN, OHIO on the same page. No other markings, no creased torn or damaged pages.
The Lowell Aircraft Company of Oberlin, Ohio was an aircraft dealer that sold parts and complete airplanes. They also ran a Flying and Ground School. I will include an electronic copy of a page from the September 5, 1921 Aerial Ace Weekly that includes a display ad for their school and 3 classified ads for airplanes or parts.
The last original copy I saw of this book wassold on Alibris forover $225more than my starting offer amount and was not in as good condition.
