ORIGINAL WWII US ARMY M1938 PARSONS COMBAT JACKET:

This is an original US Army M38 combat jacket with the pocket flaps. The Quartermaster tag was removed and there is no size tag. There is a name and laundry ID number penned on the inside liner under the collar (see photo).

This is in pretty good used condition. Good working zipper, no missing buttons I could see although one button was replaced with and is not a perfect match. I have a button that is a good match I will include in a baggie in the right pocket. There is a little fraying on the cuffs. Very minor stains and fading from use but overall pretty nice.

This coat came from the collection of Dan Quella who passed away a year and a half ago. I found this in his storage unit where it had been hanging for several decades.

Most of the time I am very careful although I do try to use whatever boxes I can find instead of buying them to keep from charging a handling fee.
