Description

Up for your consideration is a very ornate Victorian looking heart snuff or pill box. I\'m not sure of the maker as there are no marks other than the word STERLING along the inner rim.

The snuff or pill box measures 1-3/4\" tall and is about 1-5/8\" at its widest point. It weighs 16 grams.

The snuff/pill box has no monogram. The top opens and closes easily. The ring that would have been used to hang this from a chatelaine is intact. The only blemish I see is a minor indentation near the top side of the heart. It needs a good polishing.
