Raymundo Fabian is well-known among peers in his home-town of San Martin Tilcajete as probably one of the greatest carvers they know (both he and his brother Magdaleno). He has won several awards over the years that he has honed his craft while working at a well-known local workshop. Skilled at making sculptures of animals that stand as one solid, continuous piece of wood...Raymundo\'s creations have evolved into greater complexity. On his off hours, he teams up with his wife, Catalina to create these beautiful little works on the side. Here, Raymundo and Catalina opted for a more simple but adorable carving of a bear cub with fine and intricate decoration.
