This toy was recently purchased at the estate sale of an Occupied Japan Collector. I will be listing several dozen toys. These toys are marked \"occupied japan\" unless noted otherwise below. These toys date from the late 1940\'s to early 50\'s . Many of the toys have original boxes . Most all of the toys are damage free. The boxes may show wear and some damage. NOTES FOR THIS sale : This toy is in Exceptional Condition ! The only thing keeping it from being mint is the wear and paint chipping to the wheels. The wind-up works fine. The elliptical pivot point of the front wheel gives the horse a \"galloping\" motion. Celluloid is undamaged ! The box is fairly crisp , but there is some browning/foxing to the side panels . Box has the Alps logo , and is marked \"Made in Occupied Japan\". The celluloid horse is marked \"Japan\" and the tin platform is marked \"Made in Occupied Japan\". You Won\'t be disappointed with this toy !
