You arepurchasing a set from OccupiedJapan which makesthem aroind 60 years old. It includes a trinket cigarette box and 2 ashtrays. They are painted a pink gilded with gold flecks. The trinket box has 2 pink porcelain roses on top. The ashtrays have 1 pink porcelain rose in the corner.

Remember this was 1945-1952 and everyone smoked.I love the history of these. As part of the peace treaty at the end of WWII, Japan was to be occupied bysoldiers of theAllied powers.Everything manufacutred then was marked occupied Japan.

The trinket box is approximately 1 1/2 inches deep x 3 1/2 inches wide x 4 1/2 inches long. Each ashtray is approximately 1 inch deep x 3 inches wide x 4 inches long. (See pictures.)

Important Condition Information:Thesepiecesare in excellent to near

mint condition. There are no chips, cracks, large marks, or worn

areas.The only issue I see are marks on the bottom from sitting on a
