Occupied Japan Washington Dc Mini Plate Gold Trim:
This souvenir mini plate was made in occupied Japan and was sold in Washington DC. It has a diameter of 3.25 inches and is a fine translucent porcelain. The words 'Washington DC' are somewhat worn. The gold rim is still bright and shiny. Nice old patina. Assuming this was produced in the 1940's it is approaching 70 years in age. There is a very tiny chip on the bottom of the plate, barely noticeable when you turn it upside down. The printing on the bottom is in red and identifies it as ACAPSCO and made in occupied Japan.
